BOSTON, Mass. – The Southern New Hampshire men's cross country team placed 8th at the Codfish Bowl at Franklin Park on Saturday afternoon.
Thomas Dorwaldt (Albany, N.Y.) completed the 8k first for the Penmen while placing 73rd with a time of 29:21. Not far behind Dorwaldt, Matthew Reinhold (Candia, N.H.) finished 75th in a time of 29:29. Jacob Wormald (Pelham, N.H.) crossed the finish line next for SNHU at the 29:48 mark, while Justin Barcomb (Burlington, V.T.) completed the race in 30:30.
Thomas Philips (Madison, Conn.), Christopher Low (Hudson, N.H.), and Michael Bisbee (Ashburnham, Mass.) all finished the race within a 10-second span, placing 96th, 97th, and 98th, respectively.
The Penmen return to action Saturday, October 12 when they travel to Westfield State University for the James Earley Invitational.
