MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse team is one of 45 schools to be named an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division II Academic Honor Squad, it was announced by the organization on Monday. A total of 254 programs in NCAA Divisions I, II and III were recognized.
To be named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, a team must have compiled a 3.0 cumulative grade point average during the 2013-14 academic year.
The Penmen, who also earned the Northeast-10 Team Academic Excellence Award in 2013-14, posted a team GPA of 3.408. Southern New Hampshire was one of six NE-10 schools honored by the IWLCA.
