RINDGE, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire
University men's cross country team posted a sixth-place
finish Saturday at the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup on the campus
of Franklin Pierce University. The meet consisted of nine teams and
97 student-athletes.
Freshman Andrew Tuttle was the top Penmen finisher, completing
the 6K course in 22:23 to cross the line at No. 16. Junior Michael
Bisbee posted a time of 22:54, good enough for No. 33. Graduate
student Devin Bennett rounded out the contingent of SNHU runners in
the top-50, finishing No. 49 in 23:27.
Sophomore Jacob Wormald came across the finish line in 24:02 and
senior Chris Low was right behind him in 24:17. Sophomore Justin
Barcomb finished with a time of 24:31 and freshman Bryan Spooner
completed the race in 24:59.
The Penmen return on Saturday, Sept. 20, when they head to the
University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth Invitational. The race will
begin at 11:15 am.
