NORTHEAST-10 RELEASE

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Senior Ashley Loft (Leysin, Switzerland) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team was named Northeast-10 Player of the Week, it was announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.

Loft, playing at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles, finished a combined 6-0 with three singles and three doubles wins as the Penmen extended their win streak to eight matches.  On the season, Loft has not dropped a conference match, going 11-0 in NE-10 singles play as well as 11-0 in league doubles action.

Southern New Hampshire, which has wrapped up the No. 2 seed in next week's Northeast-10 Championship, closes out conference play Saturday at The College of Saint Rose.
