MANCHESTER, N.H. – Three members of the Southern New Hampshire University baseball and softball teams were named to their respective Capital One Academic All-District teams, it was announced Thursday.  Junior Ryan Gendron (Nashua, N.H.) of baseball and senior Ali Maloof (Norwood, Mass.) and junior Mo Hannan (Scarborough, Maine) of softball were selected, and all three are now eligible for Capital One Academic All-America honors.

Gendron, an outfielder, is one of two players to start all 42 games for Southern New Hampshire thus far this season.  He is batting .252 with four home runs and 21 runs batted in on the season, while working a team-high 34 walks and posting a .421 on-base percentage.  Gendron has registered seven multi-hit games on the season, and went 5-7 in a doubleheader sweep of Assumption College on April 18.  Gendron is a Business Administration major.
