2015 WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY SCHEDULE
MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University men's and women's cross country teams open their respective 2015 seasons on Saturday, September 5 when they travel across town to Saint Anselm College to compete in the annual Shacklette Invitational. The Penmen are slated to compete in at least six meets this fall.
After competing at the Shacklette, the Penmen head to the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, September 19, while one week later the two teams travel to Colchester, Vt. for the Northeast-10 Preview Meet. October will see Southern New Hampshire participate in the NEICAAA Cross Country Championship at Boston's Franklin Park on October 10, with the Northeast-10 Championship at Saint Michael's occurring on Sunday, October 25.
SNHU will get to remain in the Granite State for the NCAA East Regional meet on Sunday, November 8, as Franklin Pierce University will host the meet at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, N.H. The Penmen women are coming off an eighth place finish at last season's regional, while the men posted a 10th place effort, tops in program history.
Should either Penmen team qualify for the NCAA Cross Country Championship, that event will be held Saturday, November 21 in Joplin, Mo. Last season, SNHU's Stacey Wojcik (Wrentham, Mass.) qualified for the championship as an individual competitor on the women's side.
