Notes: Southern New Hampshire is coming off the best season in program history, finishing 17-11 and qualifying for the Northeast-10 Championship for the first time since 2003...the Penmen were picked sixth in the NE-10 preseason poll...SNHU returns its top four kill leaders from last season, along with its starting setter (Catherine Cotton) and starting libero (Maeghan Higgins)...Cotton was an NE-10 Third Team selection last season, while Marisa Coronis was the league's Rookie of the Year after finishing with 268 kills and a .321 hitting percentage...the Penmen also return Victoria Wehrmann, who totaled 87 kills in seven matches in 2013 before getting hurt, then missing all of 2014...seniors Cotton, Higgins and Nina McGouldrick will serve as team captains.
