Women's Volleyball Drops Non-Conference Meeting With Post, 3-0

Graduate student Meri Ibrahimi (Woburn, Mass.) matched her season high with 17 digs, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team lost a non-conference tilt with Post University, 3-0, Tuesday evening at the Drubner Center.

NOTES
  • Ibrahimi added a trio of assists and a service ace.
  • Freshman Sophie Chevalier (Charlton, N.Y.) led the way, offensively, with nine kills, to go with 12 digs and a pair of blocks.
  • Sophomore Jordyn Carroll (Moultonborough, N.H.) registered seven kills and four digs.
  • Post evens the all-time series, 7-7, as it extends its winning streak versus SNHU to three matches. The last Penmen win in the series came Sept. 21, 2013 (3-0) in a neutral-site match at Merrimack College. The Eagles also improve to 3-1 at home against SNHU, as they win there for the second straight meeting.

  • The Penmen return to action Tuesday, Nov. 11 (7 p.m.) when they resume NE10 play against cross-town rival Saint Anselm College.
  • SNHU wraps up its season Saturday, Nov. 15 (12 p.m.) when it plays host to Adelphi University on Senior Day at the Stan Spirou Field House.
