His second-place finish is the best individual performance by a Penmen men's cross country student-athlete in school history, and he also becomes the program's the first two-time United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region selection.
Junior Tyler McLaren (Pepperrell, Mass.) also garnered USTFCCCA All-Region accolades for the second-straight year after finishing No. 11 on Saturday. McLaren turned in an official time of 32:09, which was just three seconds outside the top-10.
Freshman Michael Moreno (Houston, Texas) and junior Andrew Tuttle (Alton, N.H.) were the next two Penmen across the line, as they finished less than two seconds apart. Moreno checked in at 33:01.6 before Tuttle traversed the terrain in 33:03.
Senior Jacob Wormald (Pelham, N.H.) was fifth for Southern New Hampshire after he completed the final race of his career in 33:31. Freshman Adam Courtemanche (Greenville, R.I.) navigated the course in 33:59 and sophomore Chris Burrill (Exeter, N.H.) rounded out the Penmen contingent in 34:39.
