NORTHEAST-10 RELEASE
MANSFIELD, Mass. – Junior Nicole Kennedy (Windham, Maine) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse team was chosen as the Northeast-10 Goalie of the Week for the period ending Feb. 28, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Kennedy, who garners the honor for the first time in her career, backboned the Penmen to a season-opening 17-11 victory against Roberts Wesleyan College on Saturday as she turned away 15 of the 26 shots she faced. The 15 saves match a career high for Kennedy.
Kennedy and the Penmen are back in action Saturday, March 5 (1 p.m.) when they play host to Dominican (N.Y.) College at Larkin Field.
