MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University baseball doubleheader against Stonehill College on Saturday, April 30 (12/3 p.m.) will be broadcast live on NESNplus and NESN National. SNHU recently reached an agreement with NESN, New England's most watched sports network, to carry its first Penmen baseball games. The broadcast will be produced by Pack Network, SNHU's partner in offering live video webcasts in 13 different sports.

"SNHU Athletics is proud to announce the expansion of its partnership with NESN," said Southern New Hampshire Associate Director of Athletics, Tom Wilkins. "The chance to showcase our top-level, nationally-ranked baseball program, in front of a regional and national audience, is an amazing opportunity. Coach [Scott] Loiseau has built a regional power during his time at SNHU. It will be exciting to share this brand of baseball with fans, alumni, members of the Penmen family and the greater New England community."

For the second straight year, NESN carried Penmen men's and women's basketball games, airing 10 games during the 2015-16 season on NESNplus, with seven of them also airing live on NESN National.

Mike Murphy and Jacob VanRyn will call the action on the broadcast. Murphy has over 20 years of radio experience calling a variety of different sports. The current radio voice of University of New Hampshire men's ice hockey, as well as UNH's color analyst for men's and women's basketball, Murphy is a five-time New Hampshire Sportscaster of the Year. VanRyn, who called Penmen basketball action this season on both NESN and WGIR 610-AM, is a seasoned New England broadcast professional and will lend insight into the Northeast-10 during the broadcast as he currently serves as the league's Associate Commissioner for Strategic Communications.

NESNplus is seen in over 4 million homes on nearly every television provider in the six-state New England region. In addition to carrying select Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox games, NESNplus also carries over 200 additional events every year including college football, hockey and basketball games from major conferences across the country.

NESN National is the national television service of NESN that provides fans outside New England the best opportunity to follow the Red Sox, Bruins and other New England sports, particularly those who also watch Red Sox and Bruins games through MLB and NHL league packages. NESN National delivers NESN's Red Sox and Bruins pre and post-game shows, NESN Sports Today, New England college sports and Liverpool FC delayed broadcasts. NESN National is available in over 100 television markets via AT&T U-verse, Bright House Networks, Time Warner Cable and Verizon Fios. NESN programming is also available nationally via DirecTV and Dish Network.

A Boston-based video production company, Pack Network was founded in 2007 and specializes in affordable, high-definition video solutions throughout the Northeast.
