Graduate goalkeeper Nick Zucco (Ludlow, Mass.) matched a career high with six saves, but Marius Preber scored with just 1:44 remaining in regulation as Franklin Pierce University stunned the second-ranked Southern New Hampshire University men's soccer team, 1-0, Wednesday evening at Sodexo Field.
The match between the two NE-10 titans and in-state foes seemed destined to go to overtime until a Franklin Pierce corner service was headed out of the box by a Southern New Hampshire defender, but directly to Preber, whose shot from the left sailed into the back of the net.
