Notes: Southern New Hampshire, ranked 21st in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II Poll, picked up a 3-0 Homecoming victory against Saint Michael's on Saturday. Senior Trisha Luis (Lowell, Mass.) started the scoring with a penalty kick goal in the 13th minute. The score would stay that way into the second half when senior Abigail Maker (Naples, Maine) set up a beautiful header from classmate Courtney Benson (Hopkinton, N.H.) that made it 2-0 in the 59th minute. Sophomore Hannah Chick (Amherst, N.H.) then extended the lead to 3-0 in the 67th minute when she finished off a corner service from classmate Emily Roan (Bridgewater, Mass.). Senior goalkeeper Paige Salmon (W. Hempstead, N.Y.) stopped the only shot she faced for her eighth shutout of the season. With the win, the Penmen reached 10 victories for the third straight season. SNHU has lost just once in its last 12 matches (9-1-2) and is now 14-3-2 in the regular season, dating back to Oct. 15 of last season. Southern New Hampshire has still not allowed a goal at home over 540:00 this season and has not given up a marker at Larkin Field in the last 569:34 dating back to Oct. 29 of last season.
