Notes: Southern New Hampshire looks to bounce back after a deflating 3-2 loss to American International College (14-25, 25-22, 25-20, 15-25, 16-14) on Tuesday evening at the SNHU Fieldhouse. The fifth set was tied 6-6 before the Penmen went on an 8-1 surge, which gave them a 14-7 lead. SNHU was unable to find the match-winning point, as the Yellow Jackets went on a run for nine straight points to steal the victory. Senior Marisa Coronis (Hudson, N.H.) and sophomore Jaclyn Maguire (Rochester, N.Y.) led four players in double figures with 14 kills each. Sophomore Amanda Costales (Wantagh, N.Y.) hit .588 while gathering 12 kills. Junior Jessica Dillon (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) recorded a triple-double of 10 kills, 12 assists and 19 digs. Sophomore Joanne Coffey (Merrimack, N.H.) dished out 32 assists and tallied 10 digs for a double-double, while senior Kathleen Schurman (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) collected 23 digs. Junior Shaira Sanabria (Bayamon, Puerto Rico) chimed in with 10 digs and a pair of service aces. Senior Carolyn Scacchi (Peabody, Mass.) added five kills. Southern New Hampshire outhit American International in the first and fourth sets, while each team hit .182 for the match.
