Junior Miranda Peloquin (Greenville, R.I.) opened the scoring early in the 17th minute off a sweet feed from senior Abigail Maker (Naples, Maine), before freshman Allyson Patterson (Seekonk, Mass.) headed home a cross from senior Sydney Crema (Litchfield, N.H.) for her first career goal, doubling the Penmen lead early in the 30th minute. Junior Ariana Silvia (Brockton, Mass.) added the cherry on top in the 86th minute with her first career goal, as she hammered a 25-yard bomb off the left post and in. Senior goalkeeper Paige Salmon (W. Hempstead, N.Y.) made two saves for her third shutout of the season.

Notes: Pace had its two-game winning streak snapped with a 2-1 loss at home Wednesday to 16th-ranked Adelphi. Freshman Gabby Lucas staked the Setters to a 1-0 lead midway through the 20th minute off an assist from junior Victoria Kealy. Adelphi answered just under seven minutes later to tie the score. The match remained deadlocked through halftime until late in the 54th minute when Adelphi notched the go-ahead goal. Pace would only put one more shot on goal the rest of the way. Senior goalkeeper Hayley Pascoal stopped three shots in the defeat.
