Rose Collects NE10 Rookie of the Week Honor

NORTHEAST-10 RELEASE

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Freshman Hannah Rose (Waterloo, Ontario) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's soccer team was chosen as the Northeast-10 Rookie of the Week for the period ending Sept. 30, the conference office announced Monday.

Rose stopped eight of the nine shots she faced during a 2-0-0 week for the Penmen. Rose made a save on the only shot she faced in Wednesday's 1-0 victory at the University of New Haven for her third shutout, before turning aside a career-high seven bids in a 4-1 win at Stonehill College on Saturday.

Rose ranks third in the league in wins (6), fifth in shutouts, sixth in goals-against average (0.99) and eighth in save percentage (.800).

Rose and the Penmen are back in action Tuesday, Oct. 2 (7 p.m.) when they play host to Merrimack College at Penmen Stadium.
