NORTHEAST-10 RELEASE
MANSFIELD, Mass. – Freshman Dorthea Glorud (Brumunddal, Norway) of the 24th-ranked Southern New Hampshire University women's soccer team was named the Northeast-10 Rookie of the Week for the period ending Oct. 14, the conference office announced Monday.
Glorud registered five points on two goals and an assist during a 2-0-0 week for the Penmen. Glorud scored a goal in Wednesday's 3-2 victory over Bentley University before adding a goal and a helper in a 4-0 blanking of Saint Michael's College on Saturday, as SNHU extended its winning streak to seven for the first time in 21 years.
In 13 matches this season, Glorud has tallied 12 points on four goals and four assists.
Glorud and the Penmen are back in action Tuesday, Oct. 16 (7 p.m.) when they take on Assumption College
