NORTHEAST-10 RELEASE
MANSFIELD, Mass. – Senior Chris Moquin (Hooksett, N.H.) of the Southern New Hampshire University ice hockey team was named the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week on Monday, as the League announced its weekly awards recipients.
Moquin registered five points in a weekend sweep of Stonehill College, which secured a postseason berth for the Penmen. Moquin powered SNHU to a 6-2 victory on Friday with a hat trick before adding a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win on Saturday. Moquin currently leads the Northeast-10 in goal scoring with 19 through 21 games played. He also has seven assists and sits third in the league with 26 total points.
Southern New Hampshire is off until Friday (February 16) when it travels to Sullivan Arena for a 7 o'clock faceoff with Saint Anselm College. The Penmen then host the Hawks at the SNHU Arena on Saturday at 3 p.m. For ticket information, please visit www.snhupenmen.com.
