PENMEN KICKOFF & STADIUM OPEN HOUSE INFORMATION

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University Department of Athletics has announced its annual Penmen Kickoff event, surrounding a field hockey-men's soccer-women's soccer triple header, will take place Saturday, Sept. 8 and will be combined with a Penmen Stadium Open House, giving fans of the fall teams that will play their inaugural seasons in the state-of-the-art facility, which opened in February, a chance to tour the new space. 

Guided tours of Penmen Stadium will begin at 11 a.m. and go until noon, with the start of the field hockey contest against national power Limestone College taking place at 1 p.m. Men's soccer follows by playing host to Molloy College at 4 p.m., with the women welcoming in Le Moyne College for a 7 p.m. tilt under the lights.

The day will feature a street fair-type atmosphere, with games and music available, as well as visits from vendors and Penmen Athletics partners. There will also be a number of apparel and food giveaways, such as popcorn and soda in a souvenir cup, including some connected to the SNHU Penmen Fan App, available in both the Apple and Google Play app stores. There will also be halftime promotions during all three contests throughout the day, with prizes, including $25,000, up for grabs.
