Score: Southern New Hampshire University 5, Chestnut Hill College 0

Senior Alex Satrustegui (Pamplona, Spain) scored four times, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's soccer team blanked Chestnut Hill College, 5-0, Saturday at Penmen Stadium.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
- Satrustegui's four goals were the most in a single match in his Penmen career and the first time he recorded a hat trick.
- Sophomore Tom Marriott (Nottingham, England), who notched five points in Thursday's opener, scored a goal and added two more assists Saturday, while classmate Jannik Mohr (Koblenz, Germany) also picked up a pair of helpers for his first points in a Penmen uniform.
- Senior goalkeeper Daniel Milton (Ajax, Ontario) stopped all five shots he faced.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Satrustegui wasted hardly any time putting the Penmen on the board, as he headed in a corner service from Marriott at the left post early in the sixth minute to make it 1-0.
- SNHU doubled the lead late in the 11th minute off another Marriott corner when Mohr's header at the far right post was saved off the line by a Chestnut Hill defender, but deflected right to Satrustegui, who was waiting at the left post to pop it in.
- Redshirt-sophomore Andre Pereira (Cheshire, Conn.) nearly extended the lead to 3-0 before the break, but his blast from the top of the right side of the box rang off the crossbar.
- The game went to the intermission at 2-nil, with Satrustegui making it 3-0 less than five minutes into the second half when Marriott delivered a perfect free kick from the left flank that Satrustegui headed inside the near post from the right side of the box.
- Satrustegui struck again midway through the 63rd minute, as graduate student João Brum (Ribeira Grande, Portugal) sent a thru-ball into the right side of the box that he was able to punch into the near side of the net.
- Marriott put the finishing touches on it in the 73rd minute when Mohr sent a long pass down the left side of the field and Marriott dribbled into the box before slotting a low shot inside the near post.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Chestnut Hill goalkeeper Sergio Hernandez turned away a pair of shots.
- The Penmen outshot the Griffins, 14-10, including 7-1 in the opening half.
- Corner kicks were even at four apiece.
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire improves to 2-0 for the fifth straight season.
- The 11 goals in two matches are the most for the Penmen in a two-game span since Oct. 18-22, 2014 when they outscored Assumption College and Bentley University, 12-1.
- This is SNHU's largest shutout since it collected a 5-0 win against Bloomfield College in the 2016 opener (Sept. 3).
- It is the first time a Penmen has scored four goals in a match since Rayane Boukemia '17 did so against Saint Michael's College on Oct. 19, 2016. Prior to that, it had not been done since Mounir Tajiou put away four versus Assumption on Sept. 7, 2002.
- It is the fourth career multi-goal game for Satrustegui, who has now scored in 15 of the 19 matches he has played in with the Penmen.
- With six goals for 12 points through just two games, Satrustegui is more than a third of the way to his goal (15) and point (34) totals from a year ago.
- SNHU is now 64-7-6 (.870) over its last 77 contests at home, including 2-0-0 at Penmen Stadium.
- Southern New Hampshire is also 83-11-9 (.850) over its last 103 matches dating back to the beginning of the 2013 National Championship season.
