MANSFIELD, Mass. – Freshman Juliana Pacini (Sao Paulo, Brazil) of the Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team was selected to the Northeast-10 All-Rookie Team on Wednesday, as the league office announced its end-of-the-year awards.
Pacini played in 26 matches and 93 sets, amassing 239 kills (2.57 k/s), 38 service aces (0.41 sa/s) and 214 digs (2.30 d/s), as she led the team in kills and aces, while ranking second in digs. In the league, she placed sixth in aces per set and 14th in kills per set. Pacini, who posted seven double-doubles, reached double figures in digs 12 times and in kills on eight occasions, including a career-high 21 in a five-set win over Valdosta State University on Sept. 14.
