MANSFIELD, Mass. – Sophomore Ashley Corcoran (East Longmeadow, Mass.) of the Southern New Hampshire women's cross country team has been selected as the Northeast-10 Athlete of the Week. The award, announced Tuesday, is for the period ending September 8.
Corcoran won the Shacklette Invitational 5K at Saint Anselm College in 19:01.24, easily a personal best. Her victory helped lead SNHU to its first ever team victory at the Shacklette.
SNHU will next compete at the Paul Short Invitational on October 5 at Lehigh University.
