Senior Shawn Montague (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) notched a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds, but the Southern New Hampshire University men's basketball team had an 11-point, second-half lead slip away in an 83-73 loss to Le Moyne College on Saturday at the Stan Spirou Field House.

KEY MOMENTS
- Southern New Hampshire held its largest lead of the contest at 51-40 with just under 15 minutes remaining, when Le Moyne ripped off 10 straight points - led by four from Ryan Roland, and three each from Tim Leavell and Nino Hernandez - to pull within 51-50 with 12:59 to go. After the teams swapped 3-pointers, seven points from Tom Brown and six from Roland paced a 15-4 blitz that put Le Moyne in front, 68-58, with 8:00 on the clock.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Roland (8-13 FG, 2-4 3-FG, 1-1 FT; 9 rebounds, 7 assists) and Leavell (7-10 FG, 3-4 3-FG, 2-2 FT) led all scorers with 19 points for Le Moyne, while Brown (18 pts, 10 rebs) and Hernandez (12 pts, 10 rebs) both registered double-doubles.
- The Dolphins narrowly outshot the Penmen, 42 percent (29-69) to 41.3 percent (26-63), including 37.9 percent (11-29) to 28.6 percent (8-28) from long range.
- Le Moyne also shot it better from the stripe, 82.4 percent (14-17) to 76.5 percent (13-17).
- The Penmen totaled more points on the fast break (17-14), while the Dolphins won the glass (46-36) and the paint (36-30), collected more second chance points (18-8) and points from their bench (28-15), in addition to featuring a better assist-to-turnover ratio (19/11-8/15). Points off turnovers were even at 17-all, thought SNHU held a 12-4 advantage at the break.
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire, which had won five of its last seven, has now dropped four-in-a-row, while the Dolphins win for the ninth time in their last 10 contests.
- Le Moyne trails in the all-time series with the Penmen, 22-17, despite having won three straight meetings, including two consecutive in Manchester, where it has not lost to SNHU since Jan. 26, 2016 (83-53).
- Montague's double-double is his sixth of the season and the 16th of his Penmen career.
