(Springfield, Mass.) - SNHU runners wrapped up the season with several personal best efforts on the track Friday at the Northeast-10 Championships.
Southern New Hampshire has a men's cross country program, but members did not have a Fall 2020 season. Several members of the team competed in select distance events at this year's Championships.
Friday highlights:
It was another big day for SNHU senior Alex Boedeker (Attleboro, Mass.). He followed up Thursday's fifth-place run in the 10000m with a sixth-place run in the 5000m. His time of 15:25.24 was a new PR.
Sophomore J T Gulick (Norwalk, Conn.) and sophomore Luke Hogan (Litchfield, N.H.) both competed in the 1500m, setting new personal bests. Gulick was 11th overall in 4:10.19 and Hogan was just behind at 4:11.67.
Gulick and Hogan also teamed with junior Jacob Logan (Norwood, Mass.) and freshman Carson Bottomley (Hollis, N.H.) to run the 4x800 relay in 8:21.28, good for seventh place.
The NE10 Championships will conclude on Saturday with the remainder of the women's events. Spectators are not allowed, but the meet is being streamed on NE10NOW.tv and also available on the OTT App on Roku, Apple, and Amazon Fire.
