Senior Matt Conti (Walpole, Mass.) fired a 4-under 68 to grab a share of individual medalist honors and help the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team win the Franklin Pierce University Fall Invitational on Monday at Keene Country Club.

INDIVIDUAL PERFORMERS

• Conti, whose 68 was the low round of the tournament, paired that with his opening-round 73 to finish in a tie atop the leaderboard at 3-under 141.
• Freshman Jack Pepin (Plaistow, N.H.), who paced the Penmen on day one with a 72 that had him one shot off the lead, matched that score again to finish in a fifth-place tie with an even-par 144.
• Sophomore Nick Tufts (Auburn, N.H.) matched Sunday's 73 to tie for 13th with a 2-over 146.
• Junior Jeff Liss (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) rounded out the Penmen scorers with a 75 to go with his opening-round 74. He totaled a 149 to tie for 22nd.

NOTES

• Sophomore AJ Cavotta (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) did not factor into the scoring, but shaved one shot off Sunday's performance for a 75 that gave him a 151 to tie for 26th.
• Southern New Hampshire finished nine shots ahead of runner-up Post University.
• Conti finished tied with Adelphi University's Andrew Brunozzi, who shot a 70 Monday after turning in a 71 Sunday.
• The FPU Fall Invite was comprised of 75 golfers from 14 different institutions.
