MANSFIELD, Mass. – Sophomore Matt Becht (Vienna, Va.) of the Southern New Hampshire University men's basketball team earned NE10 Player of the Week honors for the period ending Jan. 30, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Becht scored a career-high 35 points on Saturday at Pace University. His stat line included 8-for-14 on field goals, 7-of-12 on three-pointers, and a perfect 12-for-12 on free throws. He also pulled down 10 rebounds in the 101-81 win over the Setters, the only game SNHU played during the week.
SNHU returns to action tonight (1/31) with a home contest against Southern Connecticut State. It's part of a doubleheader with the SNHU women which starts in the Stan Spirou Field House at 5:30 p.m..
As a reminder, all fans must wear a face mask, regardless of vaccination status. The concession stand will be closed tonight.
