Morgan Siechen (Syracuse, N.Y.) and grad student
Anne Sikkema (Leeuwarden, Netherlands), all of the Southern New Hampshire University women's soccer team, were recently selected to the Academic All-District Team, selected by College Sports Communicators.
Anderson registered a pair of goals for four points over 13 matches this season. The NE10 All-Conference Second Team pick is a graphic design and media arts major with a 3.54 grade-point average.
Beaumont tied for the team lead with 10 points on three goals and a team-high four assists in 17 matches. She is a creative writing and English major with a concentration in fiction, and has a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Butters started all 17 matches, registering five points on a goal and three helpers. She is the owner of a 3.75 GPA in mathematics.
Inoue, a United Soccer Coaches East All-Region Second Team and NE10 All-Conference Second Team honoree, started eight games this year before suffering a season-ending injury. While on the pitch, she anchored a back line that eventually ranked fifth in goals allowed (21) and sixth goals-against average (1.24). She is pursuing her Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and has a 4.0 GPA.
Siechen started all 17 contests and produced five points on two goals and an assist. The economics and math major has a 3.90 GPA.
Sikkema played in 15 matches, scoring three goals and dishing an assist for seven points. She has a perfect 4.0 GPA as she pursues her MBA.
The Penmen finished 6-6-5, advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NE10 Championship and received its eighth NCAA postseason berth.
