MANSFIELD, Mass. - Freshman
Jonathan Berling (Moss, Norway) of the Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team was selected as the NE10 Rookie of the Week for the period ending Feb. 21, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Berling registered a pair of wins at No. 1 singles (6-0, 6-3) over Gustavo Kerber and at No. 2 doubles with
Cade Nadeau (Quispamsis, New Brunswick; 6-3;6-0) to help SNHU secure the win.
Berling and the Penmen return to action Wednesday, March 9 when they open their spring Florida trip against Millersville University.
