Matt Conti (Walpole, Mass.) fired a 73 in the final round to finish the tournament +1 (T4th) at the Brown Golf Intercollegiate and the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team finished in seventh place of 20 teams at Foxfire Resort & Golf.
INDIVIDUAL PERFORMERS
- Junior Jeff Liss (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) fired an even par 72 in the final round to finish in ninth place overall.
- Freshman Jack Pepin (Plaistow, N.H.) carded a 76 on day 2
- Sophomore AJ Cavotta (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) shot a 79.
- Sophomore Cameron Sheedy (Nashua, N.H.) shot an 82 and did not factor in team scoring.
- Junior Jared Mscisz (Danvers, Mass.) shot an 80 playing as an individual.
NOTES
- Wayne State won the 36-hole event with +5 over for the event.
- The Penmen had two top 10 finishers (Conti, Liss).
- SNHU returned to action for the first time since Oct. 15, a near five month downperiod.
WHAT'S NEXT
- The Penmen return to action on March 28-29 when they travel to compete in The Trojan, hosted by Mount Olive at Walnut Creek Country Club.
