MANSFIELD, Mass. – Sophomore Isnaba Namusse (Fogo, Cape Verde) of the Southern New Hampshire University men's soccer team was selected as the NE10 Defensive Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 25, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Namusse anchored a back line that helped the Penmen post a 3-0 shutout at Alliance University on Saturday. SNHU held a 30-3 advantage in shots and limited Alliance to just a single shot on goal.
Namusse and the Penmen are back in action Wednesday (Sept. 28) at 3:30 p.m. when they take on Saint Michael's College.
