Evan Guillory (Springfield, Mo.) scored 17 points and stuffed the stat sheet, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's basketball team pulled out a 66-49 victory against Pace University on Saturday afternoon at the Stan Spirou Field House.

KEY MOMENTS
- With the score tied, 10-10, over 13 minutes into the contest, a Layman bucket gave Southern New Hampshire the lead for good and sparked a 16-4 blitz – with five points from Becht and four from Kamba – to open up a 26-14 advantage with 1:42 left before the break. SNHU would carry a 28-19 lead into the locker room.
- The Penmen opened the second half with an 8-1 run – highlighted by a Kamba 3-pointer – to grab a 36-20 lead just 3:30 in. A 10-2 counter-run from Pace pulled it within 38-30 with 13:05 remaining, but SNHU answered with six straight to run the lead to 14 at 44-30 with 10:33 left.
- Pace would edge as close as nine (53-44) with three minutes to play, but a 13-3 barrage, led by Guillory with four points, gave SNHU its largest lead of the contest at 66-47 with 52 ticks left.

- Sophomore Derrick Grant (Plainfield, N.J.) posted six points (1-2 FG, 1-1 3-FG, 3-4 FT) and three boards.
- Sophomore Ethan Okwuosa (No. Haven, Conn.) recorded four points (1-3 FG, 2-2 FT) and three rebounds.
- Sophomore Jordan Brathwaite (Silver Spring, Md.) added three points (3-3 FT) and five rebounds.
- SNHU outshot Pace, 40.9 percent (18-44) to 29.3 percent (17-58), including 25 percent (5-20) to 18.5 percent (5-27) from long distance.
- Southern New Hampshire shot 55 percent (11-20) in the second half after shooting just 29.2 percent (7-24) in the first.
- SNHU was plus-15 from the stripe and shot it better, 78.1 percent (25-32) to 62.5 percent (10-16).
- The Penmen won the glass (42-31) and the paint (22-20), scored more points on the fast break (15-5) and submitted a better assist-to-turnover ratio (13/19-7/14), while Pace collected more points off turnovers (11-8), second chance points (8-7) and bench points (25-18).

- Southern New Hampshire has won nine of its last 13 and eight of its last nine.
- SNHU, which leads the all-time series, 21-13, has won 12 of the last 15 meetings. The Penmen also extend their home winning streak against the Setters to nine games.
- Becht has scored in double figures in 17 of 19 games and has reached nine points in every contest this season. During his five-game run of 10-plus points, he is scoring 16.0 ppg.
