Female Athlete of the Week: Adriana Timberlake - Women's Basketball - Gr., G
Adriana Timberlake (Braintree, Mass.) notched 24.0 points, 4.0 steals, 3.0 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game during a 2-0 week for women's basketball, shooting 56.3 percent (18-32) from the field, including 58.3 percent (7-12) from beyond the arc. Timberlake set a new season high with 23 points (10-18 FG, 2-4 3-FG, 1-1 FT) to go with six steals, four assists and three rebounds in an 81-51 triumph over Saint Michael's College on Wednesday. Timberlake followed that up with a new season best of 25 points (8-14 FG, 5-8 3-FG, 4-7 FT), while adding a pair of assists and two steals, in Saturday's 65-60 win at the University New Haven. She was named the NE10 Player of the Week earlier Monday.
Male Athlete of the Week: Matt Becht - Men's Basketball - Gr., G
Matt Becht (Vienna, Va.) recorded 20.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.0 steal per contest, while shooting 46.4 percent (13-28) from the field, including 47.6 percent (10-21) from downtown, and 83.3 percent (5-6) from the line, during a 1-1 week for men's basketball. Becht tallied 15 points (5-9 FG, 5-7 3-FG), four rebounds and two steals in a a 63-62 defeat against Saint Michael's College on Wednesday, before netting a season-best 26 points (8-19 FG, 5-14 3-FG, 5-6 FT) and grabbing seven rebounds in a 64-58 win at the University of New Haven on Saturday.

- Sixth-seeded women's volleyball suffered a five-set loss to third-seeded Bentley University in the quarterfinals of the NCAA East Regional Championship on Thursday at Adelphi University.
- Redshirt-senior Ana Pimenta (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) notched a double-double of 13 kills and 10 digs, to go with two blocks.
- Senior Claire Wohlleber (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) posted eight kills (.333), four blocks and three digs.
- Junior Deanne Wilson (Buffalo, N.Y.) collected 22 digs.
- Freshman Katalin Kovacs (Budapest, Hungary) tallied 14 assists, two aces and 11 digs.

- Women's basketball went 2-0 last week with an 81-51 win against Saint Michael's College on Wednesday and a 65-60 victory at the University of New Haven on Saturday. It is the first time since 2015-16 that SNHU is 4-0 in league play.
- Graduate student Adriana Timberlake (Braintree, Mass.) notched 24.0 points, 4.0 steals, 3.0 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game during the week, shooting 56.3 percent (18-32) from the field, including 58.3 percent (7-12) from beyond the arc. - Senior Jess Knight (Hanover, Mass.) posted 18.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 1.5 assists, while knocking down 59.3 percent (16-27) of her shots from the floor. Knight produced 18 points (7-12 FG, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, four blocks and a pair of assists against Saint Michael's, and then added 18 more points (9-15 FG), seven rebounds and two blocks.
- Freshman Abby Wager (Mansfield, Mass.) netted a career-best 20 points (9-11 FG, 0-2 3-FT, 2-2 FT), to go with four rebounds, three assists and three steals, versus the Purple Knights.Â

- Men's basketball split a pair of games last week, suffering a 63-62 defeat against Saint Michael's College on Wednesday, before taking down the University of New Haven, 64-58, Saturday.

- Men's ice hockey went 0-1-1 last week in a pair of games against Saint Anselm College. The teams tied, 2-2, Friday, before the Hawks pulled out a 4-3 win Saturday.
- Sophomore Ryan Pomposelli (Needham, Mass.) produced a team-high three points with a goal and two assists. He dished helpers on both goals Friday and scored the first Penmen goal Saturday.
- Sophomore Tucker Twardosky (Merrimack, N.H.) notched a pair of goals, with one in each contest.
- Sophomore Kurt Watson (London, Ontario) also tallied multiple points with a goal and an assist – both coming Friday.
- Freshman Sean Guerin (Chicago, Ill.) stopped 62 of the 68 shots he faced, including 36 saves Saturday.

- Junior Tori Allen (Litchfield, N.H.) and sophomore Maggie McInerney (Acton, Mass.) set personal bests in the 60-meter hurdles with times of 9.89 and 9.94, respectively.

Completed Seasons
Women's Soccer (10-5-5, 5-2-4Â NE10)
Notes:
- Women's soccer finished 10-5-5, including 5-2-4 in the NE10, as they earned the No. 3 seed for the NE10 Championship and advanced to the semifinal round, before suffering a 1-0 loss to second-seeded Adelphi University.
- SNHU earned its ninth NCAA Championship berth, including its sixth straight, collecting the No. 5 seed in the East Region. The Penmen were victorious in their first-round matchup with fourth-seeded Roberts Wesleyan University (2-0), eventually seeing their season draw to a close with a 2-0 second-round loss to the top-ranked College of Saint Rose.
- Sophomore Carly Schofield (Plymouth, Mass.) and senior Alyssa Anderson (Londonderry, N.H.) were selected to the NE10 All-Conference First Team. Senior Kassidy Michael (Manheim, Pa.) collected a Second Team honor, while graduate student Victoria Roulston (E. Falmouth, Mass.) was named to the Third Team. Freshman Liv Gantelius (Lidingoe, Sweden) claimed an All-Rookie Team.
Men's Soccer (10-6-4, 4-5-1Â NE10)
Notes:
- Men's soccer closed its season with a 10-6-4 mark, including 4-5-1 in the NE10. The team, which began the season with a six-match unbeaten streak (4-0-2), became just the second No. 7 seed in the history of the NE10 Championship to reach the title match, falling to top-ranked Franklin Pierce University on penalty kicks, 6-5, after battling to a 1-1 draw.
- SNHU secured its 23rd NCAA tournament berth and first since 2016, earning the No. 9 seed in Super Region 1, but fell to eighth-seeded Bloomsburg University, 2-1, in the opening round.
- Sophomore Iago Perez (Oleiros, Spain), senior Nicolas Gonzalez (Santander, Spain) and junior Preston Neal (Windham, N.H.) all earned NE10 All-Conference Second Team honors. Graduate student Rafa Escobedo (Santander, Spain) collected Third Team recognition, while sophomore Tyler Kraft (Londonderry, N.H.) received an All-Rookie Team nod.
Field Hockey (10-8, 9-4Â NE10)
Notes:
- Field hockey shook off a 1-3 start to win nine of its next 14 contests to end the regular season and earn the No. 5 seed for the NE10 Championship. The Penmen wound up suffering a 1-0 defeat at fourth-seeded Pace University in the quarterfinal round.
- The Penmen posted a signature win at home Oct. 4, defeating fifth-ranked Saint Anselm College, 4-1, for the first win over the Hawks in program history. SNHU had lost 16 straight to its cross-town rival.
- Freshman Minke van de Poll (Oosterbeek, Netherlands) was named the NE10 Rookie of the Year and landed a spot on the All-Conference First Team, setting a new program mark for goals by a first-year player with 14, which led the team.
- van de Poll was joined on the First Team by junior Annemartine Christis ('s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands). Sophomore Anne Wiersma (Velhoven, Netherlands) earned Second Team honors, junior Eliza Bates (Newport, N.H.) claimed a Third Team accolade and freshman Jade Hendriks (Huissen, The Netherlands) received an All-Rookie Team nod.
Cross Country
Notes:
- Women's cross country put together another stellar season, as it finished by qualifying for the NCAA National Championship for the third time in program history. The team placed fourth at the NE10 Championship, with seniorÂ
Kelsey Seamans (Methuen, Mass.) slotting in fourth to earn NE10 All-Conference First Team honors. SophomoreÂ
Corrina Obernesser (Westminster, Colo.) and seniorÂ
Kaitlyn O'Rourke (Braintree, Mass.) collected Second Team recognition. The team finished third at the NCAA East Regional Championship, punching its ticket to Nationals for the second consecutive season. Seamans was eighth, overall. The Penmen finished in 33rd place in Joplin, Mo.
- The men were sixth at the NE10 Championship, with juniorÂ
Carter Sylvester (Northwood, N.H.) earning Second-Team All-Conference with a 12th-place run. The team was also seventh at the NCAA East Regional Championship, as Sylvester posted a new personal best to finish 13th.
