COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. – 13 Student-athletes from the Southern New Hampshire University field hockey team were named to the 2022 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Squad, it was announced Thursday afternoon.
Four seniors on the team were honored for a fourth time, Audrey Canfield (North Hampton, N.H.), Melanie Dube (South Berwick, Maine), Caroline Scott (Bedford, N.H.), and Virginia Skelley (Alton, N.H.).
The NFHCA National Academic Squad program, sponsored by OPA Winning Teams, honors undergraduate collegiate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year, and were nominated by their NFHCA member coach.

Three Division II academic awards remain to be announced — the NFHCA Scholars of Distinction will be announced on February 16, the NFHCA National Academic Team awards on February 21, and the National Scholar-Athlete on February 22.
