MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Southern New Hampshire University men's lacrosse team will open the 2023 schedule on Saturday, at Molloy University in Rockville Centre, N.Y.. The Penmen will play for the first time at Mark A. Ouellette Stadium on Saturday, March 25 against Le Moyne College.
The Penmen were originally scheduled to open the season last Saturday (2/25), but the game with the University of Bridgeport was postponed due to cold, windy weather. The Molloy contest is the lone remaining non-conference event. SNHU will start play within the Northeast-10 Conference at Adelphi University on Sat. March 18.
SNHU finished the 2022 season with a 7-6 record under the direction of Head Coach
Paul Calkins, who starts his 35th season leading the squad. The Penmen were predicted for a sixth-place finish in the Northeast-10 by the league's coaches, but are receiving votes in the latest USILA/Dynamic 2023 Men's Coached Division II Poll.
