Men's Lacrosse All-Conference Honors for Dwyer, Volquardsen, and Baker

Three SNHU Men's Lacrosse Players Receive All-Conference Recognition

N. ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Three members of the Southern New Hampshire University men's lacrosse team were named Northeast 10 Conference All-Stars, as the league released its annual All-Conference teams and major award winners Monday.

Junior Sean Dwyer (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) was named to the Northeast 10 Third Team for the second consecutive season. Dwyer recorded 39 points on 19 goals and 20 assists, ranking third on the team, while his 20 assists led all SNHU players. He posted a pair of hat tricks, on March 21 against Saint Michael's College and again on April 8 against Dominican (N.Y.).

Two athletes earned All-Rookie honors. Lasse Volquardsen (Frankfurt, Germany) began his career with the Penmen with a record-setting 15-point game against Felician (seven goals, eight assists). He finished as the team's second-leading scorer with 41 points (27 goals, 14 assists). Defenseman Flynn Baker (Franklin, Mass.) totaled 16 ground balls and nine caused turnovers, while also adding a pair of goals and an assist.

The Penmen finished the season at 7-6 (2-6 NE10).

Faceoff Specialist of the Year: Quinn Gannon, St. Anselm
Rookies of the Year: Dameer Phifer, AIC, and Chris Davis, St. Michael's
Coach of the Year: Alex Smith, St. Michael's
