Senior Jeff Liss (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) carded a 75 in the final round of the Ralph Hargett Memorial Invitational, hosted by Wingate University, on Tuesday, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team finished 12th at Rolling Hills Country Club.

INDIVIDUAL PERFORMERS

• Liss, who made a hole-in-one in Monday's second round, came up three strokes shy of the 72 he shot in that round with a final-round 75 that tied him for 45th with a 230.
• Freshman Evan Rollins (Laconia, N.H.), after recording a pair of 76s Monday, shot a 78 that matched Liss' 230.
• Sophomore Jack Pepin (Plaistow, N.H.), whose best round was a 77 in the second Monday, penciled in a 78 in the final round, giving him a 237.
• Senior Matt Conti (Walpole, Mass.) rounded out the Penmen scorers with a 79 that put him at 234 for the tournament.
• Freshman Sean Dully (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) turned in an 83 that was dropped from the team score. He finished with a 239 for the three rounds.

NOTES

• Junior Nick Tufts (Auburn, N.H.), playing as an individual, shot a 78, which was his second best score of the tourney, to total a 233.
• Junior Alex Korkuc (So. Setauket, N.Y.), also playing as an individual, finished at 257 after submitting his best round – a 78 that matched Tufts.
• Grand Valley State University (863) won the tournament, finishing 19 shots ahead of runner-up Belmont Abbey College.
• Grand Valley State's Charles Delong (206) was the individual medalist with a 10-under that ws five strokes better than Wingate's Filippo Grossi (211).
• The Hargett Memorial Invitational was comprised of 96 golfers from 16 different institutions.
