Sophomore Andrew Surprenant (Boscawen, N.H.) and senior Sean Dully (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) each carded a 1-under 71 in the opening round of the Saint Anselm Florida Invitational, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team opened its spring slate Monday, sitting in third place at the Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Fla.

- Sophomore Stephen Ramos (Danville, N.H.) is tied for 21st at 4-over 76.
- Junior Mitchell Cormier (Walpole, N.H.) rounded out the Penmen scorers with a 79.

- Adelphi University (279) leads Bentley University (293) by 14 strokes.
