Ashley Corcoran (East Longmeadow, Mass.) scored a pair of wins, and junior
Tori Limone (Stoneham, Mass.) added a win in the javelin as Women's Track & Field took part at the Springfield College Classic on Saturday.
WINNING EFFORTS
- Corcoran won the 800m in 2:20.10 and the 1500m in 4:38.67.
- Limone captured the javelin at 36.15m, her top throw in the event since 2021.
- (Note a previous version of this story had incorrectly listed Tori Allen as the javelin winner - she was second)
TOP PERFORMANCES
- Junior Kaitlyn O'Rourke (Braintree, Mass.) wound up second in the 1500m at 4:56.27.
- Senior Madison McMahon (East Longmeadow, Mass.) finished third in the high jump with a season-best 1.57m. She also finished second in the long jump, just missing the win. Her 5.31m was also a season-best.  McMahon had a career-best 10.60m in the shot put.Â
- Junior Laila Bunnitt (Lewiston, Maine) turned in a season-best 12.01m in the shot put while finishing second.  She also placed third in the discus throw at 33.42m.
- Sophomore Tori Allen (Litchfield, N.H.) was second in the javelin at 33.84m.
- Graduate student Tatyanna Beckford (Orange, N.J.) was third in the javelin at 33.30m, giving the Penmen a podium sweep of the event.
NOTES
- Freshman Hope Sinclair (Hampton, N.H.) competed in the 100m and 200m events, setting a new PR in the 200m at 27.41, finishing 12th.
- Freshman Amelia Edmonds (Strafford, N.H.) also set a new PR in the 200m at 29.57.
- Freshman Maggie McInerney (Acton, Mass.) turned in a PR in the long jump at 5.03m.
- Freshman Colleen McGurl (Billerica, Mass.) also had a new mark in the long jump at 4.28m.
WHAT'S NEXT
- SNHU will honor its seniors and grad students at its Penmen Relays next Saturday, April 15, at Dr. Mark A. Ouellette Stadium. The meet is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m.
