NORMAN, Okla. — Senior Jeff Liss (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) and Matt Conti (Walpole, Mass.), and freshman Evan Rollins (Laconia, N.H.) of the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team were tabbed for the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) PING NCAA Division II East All-Region Team on Thursday. SNHU took up three of the 12 spots, which were the second most and tops in the NE10.

Liss narrowly led the Penmen with a 74.9 average over 21 rounds and nine events. He posted three top-10 finishes, including a top-five showing. Liss was second at the Granite State Opener on Sept. 12, turning in his two best rounds of the season with a 70 and then a 69. He was ninth at the NE10 Championship on Oct. 2-3 with an 8-over 224.

Conti collects the All-Region honor for the fourth time (2019, 2021, 2022) after playing in 21 rounds over nine events and averaging a 75.0. Conti finished in the top 10 on five occasions, including three top-five performances and one win. Conti, a two-time NE10 Player of the Week (Sept. 14, Sept. 28) had the best round of the season for a Penmen, firing a 66 to help him earn individual medalist honors at the Granite State opener. He also finished as the runner up at two other events, including the Franklin Pierce Fall Invitational on Sept. 18-19.

Rollins was third on the team with a 75.5 average, competing in 22 rounds over nine events. He placed in the top 10 three times, including a pair of top-five finishes. His top round of the season was a 69 that aided him in tying for fifth at the Penmen Fall Invitational on Sept. 26-27 with his best two-round score of the year – a 2-over 146. Rollins, a two-time NE10 Rookie of the Week (Sept. 28 Oct. 12), tied for fourth at the NE10 Championship with a 3-over 219.
