(Mansfield, Mass.) - Six members of the Southern New Hampshire University softball team have earned All-Conference recognition from the Northeast-10 Conference, it was announced on Wednesday.

Junior Alyssa DiMauro (Chester, N.H.) and junior Bella Dickinson (Scarborough, Maine) were named to the Second Team.  Senior Bryn Garczynski (Norwood, Mass.) and junior Shannon Gifford (Goffstown, N.H.) were named to the All-Defensive Team.  Freshmen Gianna LaSpina (Bellmore, N.Y.) and Abby Lineman (Doylestown, Pa.) were named to the All-Rookie Team.

DiMauro leads the Penmen with a .331 average with six extra-base hits including one home run.  Dickinson is hitting .275 leads the team with four homers and 23 RBI.

The All-Defensive Team is a new category and recognizes exception play.  Garczynski (center field) and Gifford (third base) were recognized for play in 2023.

LaSpina, who has appeared in 25 games, is hitting .240.  Lineman is hitting .263 with seven doubles and three homers and has drawn a team-high 23 walks.  Her .896 OPS is tops on the team.

#8 SNHU (20-21) will take on #4 Saint Anselm College in the NE10 quarterfinals on Thursday, May 4 at 2:30 p.m.  The games are being played at Adelphi University, the NE10 regular season champion.  The host Panthers are scheduled to take on the winner of the Penmen-Hawk game on Friday.
