Female Athlete of the Week: Laila Bunnitt - Women's Track & Field - Sr.
Laila Bunnitt (Lewiston, Maine) helped track & field finished third at the NE10 Indoor Championships on Friday and Saturday, as she was named Co-Outstanding Field Athlete of the Meet. Bunnitt delivered a career-best toss of 14.75m to win the weight throw Friday and followed that up with a second-place finish in the shot put (11.98m) Saturday,
Male Athlete of the Week: Ryan Auger - Men's Lacrosse - Gr., A
Ryan Auger (Hampstead, N.H.) collected a pair of assists for men's lacrosse in an 11-10 double-overtime loss to Molloy University in its season opener Saturday. The two helpers made Auger the 27th member of the program to reach 100 points in a career.

- Women's basketball split a pair of games last week, defeating American International College, 84-76, Wednesday, before seeing their seven-game winning streak come to an end Saturday with a 74-61 loss to Pace University.
- Graduate student Adriana Timberlake (Braintree, Mass.) averaged 23.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists, while shooting 47.2 percent (17-36) from the floor, including 35.3 percent (6-17) from long distance, and 85.7 percent (6-7) from the stripe. Timberlake matched her career high with 30 points (12-20 FG, 4-8 3-FG, 2-2 FT), while grabbing four rebounds and dishing a pair of assists at American Int'l. She tallied 16 points (5-16 FG, 2-9 3-FG, 4-5 FT), seven assists and five rebounds in the loss to Pace.
- Senior Jess Knight (Hanover, Mass.) posted 20.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks, while hitting on 55.2 percent (16-29) of her hots from the field and 81.8 percent (9-11) of her attempts at the free throw line. Knight netted 17 points (5-14 FG, 7-8 FT) and grabbed a pair of rebounds against AIC, before matching her career high with 24 points (11-15 FG, 2-3 FT), to go with five rebounds and four blocks.
- Freshman Abby Wager (Mansfield, Mass.) registered 19 points (3-9 FG, 1-2 3-FG, 12-13 FT), five rebounds, two assists and two steals versus the Yellow Jackets.

- Men's basketball dropped a pair of games last week, suffering a 70-56 loss at American International College on Wednesday, followed by a heartbreaking, 70-68 defeat against Pace University on Saturday.
- Graduate student Matt Becht (Vienna, Va.) recorded 15.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steal per contest, while shooting 37.5 percent (9-24) from the field, including 50 percent (8-16) from deep, and knocking down all four of his free throw attempts. Becht dropped in 19 points (6-15 FG, 5-8 3-FG, 2-2 FT) and collected four rebounds at American Int'l. He added 11 points (3-9 FG, 3-8 3-FG, 2-2 FT), three assists and a pair of rebounds versus Pace.
- Graduate student Alex Rivera (Lowell, Mass.) notched 14 points (5-11 FG, 2-6 3-FG, 2-2 FT) and three rebounds against the Setters.

- Men's ice hockey halved a pair of games against Assumption University last week, scoring a 2-1 victory Friday, before falling, 3-1, to the Greyhounds on Saturday. The Penmen earned the No. 3 seed and a first round home game in the NE10 Championship, which begins Tuesday.
Sophomore Kurt Watson (London, Ontario) tallied a goal and an assist, as he scored the eventual game winner and assisted on Saturday's lone goal.
Senior Matt Amante (West Hempstead, N.Y.) also registered a goal and a helper. He set up the eventual winner Friday and scored SNHU's only goal Saturday.
Sophomore Ryan Pomposelli (Needham, Mass.) staked the Penmen to a 1-0, first-period lead Friday.
- Freshman Collin Berke (Crofton, Md.) stopped 32 of the 33 shots he faced in Friday's win and was chosen as the NE10 Rookie of the Week earlier Monday.
- Fellow freshman Sean Guerin (Chicago, Ill.) made 34 saves Saturday.

- Sophomore Hope Sinclair (Hampton, N.H.) set a new program record with a time of 7.91 seconds in the 60m, where she placed third.
- Senior Kelsey Seamans (Methuen, Mass.) won the Elite 24 Award for the second consecutive year at the Indoor Track & Field Championships for having the best grade-point average at the competition.

- Graduate student Angelina Graziano (Riverhead, N.Y.) recorded seven points on five goals and two assists.
- Fellow grad student Katelyn Hadden (Newburyport, Mass.) also matched her career high with seven points on four goals and three helpers.
- Senior Shelby Cole (Gilford, N.H.) notched four goals and a pair of assists for six points.
- Senior Layne Walther (Center Moriches, N.Y.) was selected as the NE10 Defensive Player of the Week after collecting four ground balls and caused a turnover.
- Freshman Nicole Mirra (Cicero, N.Y.) stopped six of the seven shots she faced in the second half and was named the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week earlier Monday.
- Senior Megan Petko (Monroe, N.Y.) turned away two of three bids that came her way in the opening stanza.

Women's Soccer (10-5-5, 5-2-4Â NE10)
Notes:
- Women's soccer finished 10-5-5, including 5-2-4 in the NE10, as they earned the No. 3 seed for the NE10 Championship and advanced to the semifinal round, before suffering a 1-0 loss to second-seeded Adelphi University.
- SNHU earned its ninth NCAA Championship berth, including its sixth straight, collecting the No. 5 seed in the East Region. The Penmen were victorious in their first-round matchup with fourth-seeded Roberts Wesleyan University (2-0), eventually seeing their season draw to a close with a 2-0 second-round loss to the top-ranked College of Saint Rose.
- Sophomore Carly Schofield (Plymouth, Mass.) and senior Alyssa Anderson (Londonderry, N.H.) were selected to the NE10 All-Conference First Team. Senior Kassidy Michael (Manheim, Pa.) collected a Second Team honor, while graduate student Victoria Roulston (E. Falmouth, Mass.) was named to the Third Team. Freshman Liv Gantelius (Lidingoe, Sweden) claimed an All-Rookie Team.
Men's Soccer (10-6-4, 4-5-1Â NE10)
Notes:
- Men's soccer closed its season with a 10-6-4 mark, including 4-5-1 in the NE10. The team, which began the season with a six-match unbeaten streak (4-0-2), became just the second No. 7 seed in the history of the NE10 Championship to reach the title match, falling to top-ranked Franklin Pierce University on penalty kicks, 6-5, after battling to a 1-1 draw.
- SNHU secured its 23rd NCAA tournament berth and first since 2016, earning the No. 9 seed in Super Region 1, but fell to eighth-seeded Bloomsburg University, 2-1, in the opening round.
- Sophomore Iago Perez (Oleiros, Spain), senior Nicolas Gonzalez (Santander, Spain) and junior Preston Neal (Windham, N.H.) all earned NE10 All-Conference Second Team honors. Graduate student Rafa Escobedo (Santander, Spain) collected Third Team recognition, while sophomore Tyler Kraft (Londonderry, N.H.) received an All-Rookie Team nod.
Women's Volleyball (13-13, 6-5Â NE10)
Notes:
- Women's volleyball finished 13-13, including 6-5 in league play, as they claimed the No. 5 seed and upset fourth-seeded American International College in five sets in the quarterfinals of the NE10 Championship. After dropping another five-set decision in the semifinals at top-seeded Adelphi University, SNHU received its second straight NCAA Championship berth as the No. 6 seed in the East Region and suffered yet another five-set defeat to third-seeded Bentley University in the quarterfinals.
- Redshirt-senior Ana Pimenta (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) became the first student-athlete in program history to earn All-America, All-Region and All-Conference First Team. Pimenta was chosen as an AVCA All-America Honorable Mention, AVCA East All-Region First Team and NE10 All-Conference First Team.
Field Hockey (10-8, 9-4Â NE10)
Notes:
- Field hockey shook off a 1-3 start to win nine of its next 14 contests to end the regular season and earn the No. 5 seed for the NE10 Championship. The Penmen wound up suffering a 1-0 defeat at fourth-seeded Pace University in the quarterfinal round.
- The Penmen posted a signature win at home Oct. 4, defeating fifth-ranked Saint Anselm College, 4-1, for the first win over the Hawks in program history. SNHU had lost 16 straight to its cross-town rival.
- Freshman Minke van de Poll (Oosterbeek, Netherlands) was named the NE10 Rookie of the Year and landed a spot on the All-Conference First Team, setting a new program mark for goals by a first-year player with 14, which led the team.
- van de Poll was joined on the First Team by junior Annemartine Christis ('s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands). Sophomore Anne Wiersma (Velhoven, Netherlands) earned Second Team honors, junior Eliza Bates (Newport, N.H.) claimed a Third Team accolade and freshman Jade Hendriks (Huissen, The Netherlands) received an All-Rookie Team nod.
Cross Country

- Women's cross country put together another stellar season, as it finished by qualifying for the NCAA National Championship for the third time in program history. The team placed fourth at the NE10 Championship, with seniorÂ
Kelsey Seamans (Methuen, Mass.) slotting in fourth to earn NE10 All-Conference First Team honors. SophomoreÂ
Corrina Obernesser (Westminster, Colo.) and seniorÂ
Kaitlyn O'Rourke (Braintree, Mass.) collected Second Team recognition. The team finished third at the NCAA East Regional Championship, punching its ticket to Nationals for the second consecutive season. Seamans was eighth, overall. The Penmen finished in 33rd place in Joplin, Mo.
- The men were sixth at the NE10 Championship, with juniorÂ
Carter Sylvester (Northwood, N.H.) earning Second-Team All-Conference with a 12th-place run. The team was also seventh at the NCAA East Regional Championship, as Sylvester posted a new personal best to finish 13th.
