Senior Nick Tufts (Auburn, N.H.) shot a 75, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team placed 19th after the first round at the Atlantic/East Regional Preview on Monday at the Oglebay Resort-Jones Course.
INDIVIDUAL PERFORMERS
- Tufts' 75 has him tied for 21st.
- Sophomore Sean Dully (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) carded a 78.
- Junior Jack Pepin (Plaistow, N.H.) finished the first round with an 82.
- Sophomore Evan Rollins (Laconia, N.H.) rounded out the Penmen scorers with an 87.
NOTES
- Senior Alex Korkuc (So. Setauket, N.Y.) had his 89 dropped from the team score.
- Gannon University (291) is in first place, six strokes ahead of Livingstone College (297) and the University of Charleston (297).
- Glenville State University's Benjamin Fernandez is atop the individual leaderboard with a 4-under 67, which is four shots ahead of a group of four that are tied at 71.
- The Atlantic/East Regional Preview is was comprised of 130 golfers from 26 different institutions.
