Sophomore Sean Dully (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) made three birdies to card a 2-over 73, as the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team is tied for 18th after the first round at the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Championship on Thursday at the Oglebay Resort-Jones Course.

INDIVIDUAL PERFORMERS

• Dully recorded two of his birdies on the front-9 to sit at 1-under at the turn. His 73 has him tied for 12th.
• Junior Jack Pepin (Plaistow, N.H.) checked in at even-par through the first nine holes on the strength of two birdies, but finished the round at 8-over 79
• Sophomore Evan Rollins (Laconia, N.H.) sank three birdies on the front-9, but wound up matching Pepin's 79.
• Senior Nick Tufts (Auburn, N.H.) rounded out the Penmen scorers with an 81.

NOTES

• Nine teams that made it through 12 holes, but were on the course when play was suspended due to standing water on the greens. Round one resumed at 7:30 a.m. Friday (May 10), while the second round began at 9:30 a.m.
• Senior Alex Korkuc (So. Setauket, N.Y.) had his 85 dropped from the team score.
• Gannon University (294) is currently in first place, two strokes ahead of the University of Charleston (296).
• Gannon's Michael Wareham is atop the individual leaderboard with a 2-under 69, which is one shot ahead of Davis & Elkins College's Matin Eisa (70).
• The NCAA Atlantic/East Regional Championship is comprised of 108 golfers from 26 different institutions. Twenty teams qualified, as well as eight individual golfers from six schools.
