AUSTIN, Texas – senior
Jesse Den Hartog (Amsterdam, The Netherlands) of the Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team was chosen for the Academic All-America Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, on Wednesday.
Den Hartog, an NE10 Second Teamer at No. 2 singles and No. 3 doubles, and an a CSC Academic All-District choice, is a business administration major with a 3.93 GPA. Den Hartog was 17-7 in singles play, including 8-2 in the conference. He was also 16-6 in doubles and 8-2 in the NE10.
The Penmen went 14-6 this season, including 8-2 in the NE10 to claim a share of the regular-season title. SNHU earned the No. 2 seed for the NE10 Championship and fell in the finals to top-seeded Adelphi University, before receiving its 11th NCAA Championship berth and advancing to the Round of 32.
