Graduate student
Martin Fuentes (Pamplona, Spain) used a fantastic individual effort early in the 15th minute to score what would be the only goal of the match, as the 14th-ranked Southern New Hampshire University men's soccer team took down cross-town rival Saint Anselm College, 1-0, Wednesday afternoon at Melucci Field.
KEY MOMENT
- Fuentes put the Penmen in front 14:13 when he chased down a looping ball near the end line to the left of the goal, gathered it before it went out of play, weaved through two defenders and fired a shot from a tight angle that tucked between the diving goalkeeper and the far right post.
