Freshman Sophie Chevalier (Charlton, N.Y.) and sophomore Jordyn Carroll (Moultonborough, N.H.) each recorded six kills, but the Southern New Hampshire University women's volleyball team fell to Bentley University, 3-0, Saturday afternoon in non-conference play at the Dana Center.

NOTES
  • Bentley leads the all-time series, 29-5, and has won nine of the last 10 meetings, including six straight. The Falcons have also won 17-in-a-row at home against the Penmen, last losing there Oct. 26, 1982 (2-1).
  • Chevalier added six digs, two blocks and an ace.
  • Sophomore Ariana Davila (Austin, Texas) handed out 14 assists and recorded six digs.
  • Graduate student Meri Ibrahimi (Woburn, Mass.) led the team with 12 digs.
WHAT'S NEXT
  • The Penmen are back in action Tuesday, Oct. 7 (6 p.m.) when they open up NE10 play at Saint Michael's College.
  • The next home game for SNHU will be on Tuesday, Oct. 21 (6:00 p.m.) against Franklin Pierce in what will be the first conference home match of the season.
