Six Penmen Softball Players Receive All-Conference Recognition

Lineman, Feldman, Resetar Named To NE10 First-Team

(Mansfield, Mass.) - Six members of the Southern New Hampshire University softball team have earned All-Conference recognition from the Northeast-10 Conference, it was announced on Wednesday.

Junior Peyton Feldman (Foxboro, Mass.) was named First-Team for the second consecutive season.  She is currently hitting .301 with 41 hits including four doubles, two triples, a homer.  Her on-base percentage of .418 ranks second on the team.

Junior Abby Lineman (Doylestown, Pa.) is a First-Team selection after being named to the Third-Team last year.   She leads the Penmen with five homers and 36 RBIs, and her .331 batting average is a career-best.   Lineman has also been recognized on the Northeast-10 All-Defensive Team at catcher.

Senior Jordyn Resetar (Hanover, Pa.) is a first-team selection.  Her .364 batting average and .978 OPS lead the Penmen.  She has 19 doubles and currently ranks fifth in the nation (tied) with 0.43 doubles per game.  Resetar has hit four home runs - three coming in a March 22 game against Molloy University.

Senior Mackenzie Bruggeman (Trumbull, Conn.) is on the Third-Team All-Conference.  Bruggeman is second on the team with a .340 batting average and 10 of her 48 hits are doubles.  She has driven in 22 runs. 

Senior Amelia Freitas (Plymouth, Mass.) is also on the Third-Team.  She has started 22 games in the circle, and compiled a 10-6 record with a 2.82 ERA.  She has 15 complete games and four shutouts.  Freitas has again shown excellent, walking 19 and striking out 120 in 136.1 innings pitched.

Freshman Alyssa Abbott (Hudson, N.H.) is on the NE10 All-Rookie Team.   She is hitting .252 with a homer and 19 runs batted in.
