SNHU Runner Hannah Sippel Named NE10 Outdoor Track Rookie of the Year

MANSFIELD, MASS. – Freshman Hannah Sippel (Chester, N.H.) has been named the Northeast 10 Outdoor Track and Field Rookie of the Year.  Major award winners were announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.

Sippel had a tremendous outdoor season, and excelled in her Ouellette Stadium home where she was a part of six winning races.  She helped the Penmen to a second-place finish at the NE10 Championships in Manchester with new personal bests in the 200 and 400m.   Her 57.07 for the 400m was the fastest by an SNHU athlete this season.   She was named the Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week on April 22, and also won the award for Indoor Track & Field on February 4.
