Philipp Herrmann (Bruckmuehl, Germany) found the back of the net to break the ice and get the scoring started for the sixth-ranked Southern New Hampshire University men's soccer team in an eventual 3-0 victory against Queens (N.Y.) College on Saturday night at Ouellette Stadium.
KEY MOMENTS
- With a little over 16 minutes remaining in the contest, graduate student Martin Fuentes (Pamplona, Spain) played a ball out of the air to the feet of senior Tyler Kraft (Londonderry, N.H.), who sent a long ball from over midfield down the right flank. Herrmann sprinted to catch up to it, one-touching it into the box before ripping a shot that beat the goalkeeper inside the right post.
