Men's Golf Three Shots Off Lead After Round One of Penmen Fall Invitational

Dully's Even-Par 70 Tops Squad on Monday

Senior Sean Dully (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) fired an even-par 70 to lead the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team, which sits in second place after the opening round of the Penmen Fall Invitational on Monday at Concord Country Club. The Penmen posted a team total of 293 (+13) and trail Dominican (N.Y.) (+10) by just three shots heading into Tuesday's final round.


INDIVIDUAL PERFORMERS

  • Dully matched par with a 70 and is tied for second overall, one shot behind the individual leader, Giacomo Moltedo of Dominican.
  • Dully's round included three birdies and three bogeys.  He made the turn at one-under par 33.
  • Sophomores Charlie Blake (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) and Sam Maurice (Auburn, N.H.) each turned in a 74 (+4) to tie for eighth.
  • Senior Evan Rollins (Laconia, N.H.) posted a 75 (+5), tied for 12th.
  • Sophomore Andrew Surprenant (Boscawen, N.H.) rounded out the team scoring with an 80 (+10), tied for 27th.
  • Sophomore Stephen Ramos (Danville, N.H.), competing as an individual, shot a 76 (+6) to tie for 15th, while freshman Drew Cameron (Salem, N.H.) carded an 82 (+12) as an individual.
